The 2021 40-plus years Lord Mayor's Commendations specifically recognise small businesses that have operated continuously within the City of Melbourne for at least 40 years.
Peter Sheppard Footwear has been selling beautiful European footwear in the City of Melbourne for over 48 years, and we're proud to still be 100% owned and operated by the Sheppard family. Peter’s son Chris is now the CEO, and we have a collection of beautiful shoes named after Peter’s grandson Hugo. While we can’t predict the future, we know it’s bright in Melbourne and we look forward to serving our customers for another 48 years and beyond.
